This is an antique or very vintage full length Victorian or Edwardian era skirt. it is made of rose pink with a hint of purple silky type material and it has a stiff layered lace inset as shown. There is a large gathered material area in the back that I believe is for a bustle. The skirt waist is up to 32 inches….The length from top to hem is 46 inches….The lace is all hand made and sewn and the skirt is machine sewn. The lace insert is inserted and sewn into the skirt in a hand sewn sloppy manner. I think the skirt may have been reworked many years ago to add the lace. I am not certain. The waist has many repairs and is coming apart from the band in places as shown. I find no holes in the skirt in other places. The lace is sewn on in layers to a stiffer type material. Very unique and beautiful! Needs some repair,but well worth the effort!
