Antique Late 19thC Victorian Gold Gilt Copper Picture Frame with Cherubs
Up for bids is this exquisite antique late 19thC Victorian gold gilt copper picture frame with cherubs adorning the top. There is one cherub on the top center and 2 on each side. The rectaular shaped frame is decorated with a raised floral design.
It is probably French.
Condition is very good. Most of the gilding has worn off but to me it ‘s finish is great. No breaks, the glass is free of breaks or cracks. The rod that props the frame up is secure and stands steady.
Measurements: 8″ high x 4 7/8″ wide. The glass portion for your picture is 5 1/4″ 3 5/8″.
