For your consideration in this no reserve auction is this beautiful antique Victorian 14k Rose Gold Locket being sold as is to fix/repair or scrap. The locket has been tested for its 14k solid gold quality by acid test and electronically. The total weight with all pieces combined together is 14.1 grams please see the pictures for further weight/size measurements. This item appears to have had someone working on it prior to my ownership and although beautiful, it has been left unfinished and in need of repair. The exterior of the locket shows wear from age,use and being worked on which includes scratches and minor dings it has a high karat gold finish on top of the rose gold. It is fully functional and opens and closes well. The high karat finish patina has wore of in some places on the outside and interior where the piece appears to have been worked on so the rose gold shows through. The locket comes with its orignal glass insert which can be removed and is in good condition. Please see all of the pictures as to how the piece fits together. The see pearls attached through the gold decoration on the front which attach through the case of the locket in two holes in the front.
