A fantastic lot of ORIGINAL Kewpie Doll Dishware circa Teens-1920’s. This lot includes a mug, a small bowl, and a teacup with saucer. The stand in which the bowl sits in photo 1 .
Condition notes:
Bowl- NO CRACKS, CHIPS OR REPAIRS. Clean, clear illustrations with very little wear. The gold paint around the rim of the bowl is 80% worn away. The bottom of this piece is shown in photo 8.
Teacup- FANTASTIC condition. VERY light wear to the gold paint around the rim, otherwise near mint.
Saucer – FANTASTIC condition. VERY light wear to the gold paint around the rim, otherwise excellent. The bottoms of the teacup and saucer are shown in photo 6.
Mug- There is a hair line crack where the top of the handle meets the cup, but no such crack anywhere else. There is no way the handle has ever broken off because there is no second crack. It just cracked at the top. There appears to be a small amount of glue in that area from a repair (photo 9). The mug is otherwise excellent.These will be heavily wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped fully insured via Priority Mail with tracking.
