DESCRIPTION

 

 

This Trilobite fossil:

is fossilised into a nodule of two halves: internal mold (positive) and external mold (negative). The nodule has been split.

exhibits very well preserved thoracopygidium (segments, axial rings. marginal spines).

has been repaired. External mold is fractured and glued. Left eye is glued in its original position.

is complete, cephalon, thorax and pygidium.

Is without restoration, showing natural textures and colors.

                                              Geological time: Devonian (416 to 359,2 million years ago).

 

                                              Origin: Pisakavina, Calamarca (Department of La Paz) Bolivian Altiplano.

 

                                              Stratigraphy: Belen Formation.
