Antique Bakelite Chess Se t- H. Delaire, Paris France-Original Case-White & Red
You are an antique, or early vintage, Bakelite chess set from Paris, France. It was made by H. Delaire, Paris (see photos).
The pieces are tested as Bakelite and are red & white. The tallest pieces are 2 1/4 inches tall, and the pawns are 1 inch. I count 5 total pieces either repaired or broken (missing the top). There is a total of 32 pieces. They are in the original, old leather case, but as the photos show, it is not iun great condition. The old brass latches and hinges are fine.
