ANTIQUE ASPREY SEWING SET IN LEATHER CASE
Description:
On offer here is an antique edwardian leather cased sewing set, made by Asprey. It opens up in a nice folding motion and once open it reveals an inner storage area that houses cotton spools, long needles, a lidded storage box that has three compartments used for pins, thimbles etc.. the top of the lid is fitted and filled with tools such as scissors, pricker, a file, hooks and needles. there is further needle storage to the inner flap in the form of small pockets. It is a charming item.
It measures 8 inches x 3.5 inches wide x 1.5 inches high.
Condition; good used, pre owned, very useable. There are some tears to the fabric lining within the case- please see photo’s. It could be replaced. The leather is very good.
