DESCRIPTION

 

 

This Trilobite fossil:

thoracopygidium is fossilised into a nodule of two halves: internal mold (positive) and external mold (negative). The nodule has been split.

exhibits very well preserved glabella (glabellar furrows, frontal lobe) and thoracopygdium (segments, axial rings, marginal spines).

hasn’t been repaired.

is complete, cephalon thorax and pygidium.

is without restoration, showing natural textures and colors.

                                              Geological time: Devonian (416 to 359,2 million years ago).

 

                                              Origin: Pisakavina, Calamarca (Department of La Paz) Bolivian Altiplano.

 

                                              Stratigraphy: Belen Formation.
