60’s 70’s Danish modernist hanging lamp space age Eames Fog & Morup era

Danish hanging lamp from the sixties / seventies

Absolutely gorgeous Danish hanging lamp, consisting of three identical shades hanging from one matching ceiling plate. So yes, the auction is for all three of them.

In the style of Fog & Morup, Poulsen and Lyfa. I’m not sure of the exact manufacturer. (If you are, let me know!)

Made of spun aluminum. The lower parts are coated in a red copper colour. The different layers are spraypainted orange on the inside, which creates the warm glow.

It’s in good condition: just minor traces of use; a few small scratches and two tiny bolts have been replaced with new ones, but nothing too serious. It still has the original, matching ceiling cap (photo).

All in all an absolute beauty and a definite asset for any collector or modernist design lover.
