Late 19th Century Full Bodied 31 inch long horse and rider weathervane jumping a fence. This came out of a private collection and has been indoors for last 20 years plus. Came from a farm in the Maine area. Has remains of black paint, gold and green patina showing throughout the horse. The head is solid, the rider’s head is solid zinc. This is a very heavy and solid weathervane. One small dented area on the hind quarter on the uppper right side-that doesn’t take anything away from the piece. There are no other bullet holes, repairs or alterations.
