This “LANGWITH’S” 1927 Iowa “Motor Trails” map is in good condition except for some math problems written in pencil on an inside page and cover[check photos]. It is the first time I have seen “Motor Trails” used instead of road on a map. Also, reads, “COMPLIMENTS OF CHAMPLIN REFINING CO. OF IOWA”. Overall,, it’s in great condition for a paper article this old. The map itself is in very clean good condition. No tears. Map when folded is 3 1/4″x5″. Map shows where Champlin gas stations are in Iowa with red dots. There are eight state and national state highway markers, map explaination and index of larger cities which includes “COON RAPIDS”,, I found this rather amusing. First time I have ever laughed at a map….lol.
