Description
Here is a Sterling silver pocket watch with a white dial that is signed INVAR in a wheel with a shooting star through it. Also the name MAURICE WOLF SOERABAIA BATAVIA MEDAN. It has a smaller seconds dial too.
The casing inside is marked 0.925 CMI Invar and numbered 336016. Invare Ancre 16 Rubis Reglage de Precision.
The movement is signed INVAR and numbered 359471. It has a very unusual ‘fast/slow’ section.
The balance staff is good, but the watch has no hairspring, so I’m selling it as spares or repair only.
This is a good watch, and is worthy of being repaired.
The case measures approx 48mm in diameter.
It weighs a total of 81.6 grams.
The watch is in overall good condition, there is a crack in the enamel dial running from the centre to the number 12.
