You are (1) medium-sized “antique” oval picture frame with with a painted oil (or acrylic) on wood board reproduction of a prior work. The frame looks authentic from the front, but looking at the back reveals that its completely wood, not molded plaster, or whatever with gilt.
The painting is real in the sense it is painted on wood board and is signed by “JANE”. It depicts a female artist working on a sculpture of a horse.Nice.
