Pathe Antique silent hand cranked 28mm movie film projector Fatty Arbuckle era

Pathe

Antique Pathe KOK 28mm silent movie projector made for the home market.

The projector is missing the crank and I only have one reel for it. Also a crank for rewinding the film is missing. Otherwise I believe that the projector is complete.

I found this projector in the attic of a very old barn in Kansas. The last photo on the listing shows the exact barn that it came from. Due to being in bad storage for many years the metal case is rusty. Also there is some paint loss and corrosion on the projector as well, all of which can be clearly seen in the photos.

Despite this the projector still turns over very smoothly and all parts are moving as they should when the large flywheel is turned. Also the original tipped bulb is still intact and has a perfect filament.

The wooden mounting board is heaily worn and looks to have some modifications such as added electrical terminals. The projector itself is in pretty good condition, especially considering that it came from a farm yard. There are no broken or cracked parts.

The original light socket type electrical plug is still in place on the original cord. The cord has some expected fraying and someone had spliced in a switch at one time in the middle of the cord.

The metal cover is dented and rusty. The latches that hold the cover onto the board are present but are in bad condition. One will not move because of rust and the other latch is broken.
