Available
for auction is a Mid Century Paul McCobb 3 piece set that I am selling “as
is” due to the fact I do not have the original legs. My husband said that
he removed the legs decades ago because my mother-in-law didn’t like them.
Regardless, they are in good condition for their age with some minor scratches
but no major damage. There are two “dressers”, not sure what else to call them,
that have 4 drawers each. My
mother-in-law always kept custom cut glass on the tops to protect them. The last 7 years, she stacked them to create
a tall chest of drawers. The credenza
has 2 bi-fold doors that open to reveal 6 small drawers on one side and 4 long
drawers on the other. All of the drawers and doors open smoothly. One of the dressers and the credenza have
metal plates that state: Calvin, Grand Rapids, the Irwin Collection, designed
by Paul McCobb. I try to over describe
imperfections so that the buyer has no “surprises” as to condition.

Local
pick up is free and will require a truck and a couple of very strong people. I
have no idea how much these weigh, but they are VERY HEAVY. My husband and I cannot help with lifting. I have been able to push the dressers around,
but can barely move the credenza. If buyer is not local, this item will require
freight shipping and is the sole responsibility of the buyer to inquire,
arrange and pay shipping cost directly to the shipper. I will not be involved
in any shipping.
