For Auction is this Antique Folding Safety Hunting Knife from MARBLES, Gladstone, Mich, U.S.A. This is an uncommon find- made from 1913 to 1940, this pocket knife, with a folding extension guard- allowed the knife to have a blade longer than the handle.
The knife is approx 6 1/4″ closed, has a 4 1/2″ carbon clipped blade and a 4 1/4″ stag handle. It has brass pins and liners and German nickel plated silver bolsters.
The knife is in good used condition- opening/closing is tight, some scratches on the blade from age, no pitting. There is a small (maybe 3/4″) crack in the stag handle on one side that does not compromise the handle at all.
