Description
A beautiful antique solid sterling silver vesta/match case decorated with attractive ivy-leaf engraving, with a sprung hinged lid and complete with its original silver bale ring. Rectangular in shape with rounded corners and with large blank cartouche on the front.
Measurements Measures approx 1.95 inches (48mm) x 1.45 inches (35mm) and is 0.3 inches (8mm) deep.
Date Full set of English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1907 (date letter “h”). Further matching hallmarks on the lid too.

Condition Lovely condition, no splits or cracks, no solder repairs and no nasty knocks or dents either. The lid hinge works perfectly and the spring is still good. Very nice clean antique silver vesta case.
