This listing is for a very rare pair of antique sunglasses/eyeglasses/eye glasses complete with early Bauer Bro’s Scientific Opticians Zanesville Ohio case. Lenses measure 1 tall x 1 1/4″ wide each. The lenses are in mint condition I see NO marks or scratches. The metal frame measures 4 1/4 wide from hinge to hinge. The temples measure 4 7/8″. These are in VERY good antique condition with no damage other than some very minor paint loss. GOOD SOLID PAIR. The case is 6-3/4″ long and 1-1/2″ wide with the lettering clearly readable. Case is stamped Bauer Bro’s Scientific Opticians Zanesville, O. Case is in for it’s age.
Great piece of Zanesville history. Note the glasses are not as dark as the appear in some of the photos, the glasses pictured on the white background are very close to the color.
These glasses and the case came together from an estate in Columbus, Ohio.
