WHAT:
This is most fabulous trinket box, most likely dating back to the Art Nouveau period or close to that time. It is made from beautifully decorated porcelain. The decoration has all been done by hand, with the most amazing mix of florals and colours. The lid has an acorn, brass knob and is also trimmed in brass along the edges of the lid. We have researched the mark below the box, although we can not be certain of the makers name, this piece may have German origins. A swirled A, in a diamond shape. This little dish will hold a lot of pieces and will display them in the most elegant way.
CONDITION: A LITTLE AGED AT MOST BUT HAS BEEN CLEARLY LOOKED AFTER, NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. IT HAS SURVIVED TIME BEAUTIFULLY
