We were lucky to come up with this amazing modern design room-divider/partition Screen. It is called the Viper and was designed by Hans Sandren Jakobsen about 1996 and was produced by Fritz Hansen and distributed to high end modern design icons such as Knoll International. The Viper is sometimes classified as a small office partition, but it is a perfect accent or backdrop for any modernist home or environment, great for a backing wall at a show or display, and of course a reception area or event booth. The viper screen was available in a choice of either surface treated cardboard paper, aluminum tubes or perforated aluminum tubes with a sound deadening foam filling. The Viper screen offered here is the un-perforated aluminum. The 49 (I think) oval tubes are individually hinged with black plastic plugs in each end that are pivotally connected by means of black push-in stainless steel clip hinges that are easily mounted and dismantled. This feature allows the Viper to be endlessly extended by adding as many sections as needed. Each Viper section is 3 meters long (about 10 ft) by about 1.6 meters high (about 5 ft 3 in). Viper can be rolled up to a compact cylinder for storage or transport and weighs approximately 50-60 lbs. Sections of aluminum tube Viper Screen sold/sell for about $2700+ when new.
This Viper Screen has never been used. It has been in storage and comes in its [partial] original cardboard shipping container with paper wrapping, instruction sheet and a few extra clips to facilitate extension with other sections. The top of the shipping “tube” is missing. As mentioned, this is the un-perforated aluminum style Viper. These tubes were given a protective coating at the factory to keep the anodization clean over time. Because of the humidity in the various storage areas this was kept in, there is some light color variance, or “whitening” on small areas of some tubes as well as some waxy residue that seems to wipe off easily. We think its a minor issue, and the screen is otherwise in great shape with no dents or dings and little, if anything in the way of scratches, scrapes or marring. There are two tags at the base on either side of the end tube (see detail pics). One is the Fritz Hansen label indicating this screen was designed in 1996 and made in 2002 with a part or serial #18157, the other label indicates that it was made to be distributed by Knoll for their Knoll Studio line.
Hans Sandgren Jakobsen is a renowned modern Danish furiture designer with many distinguished credits to his portfolio. He has won several prestigious awards and recognition for his Beautiful Viper screen.

For transportable items, a meeting location can be agreed upon within a general radius of 50 miles. Travel incurred over 20 miles (one way) will require a fuel surcharge of $12 plus ¢.40 per extra mile.
Meetings shall be MUTUALLY convenient, and must be completed within 10 days after sale ends.
