Scalloped Band Silver Thimble
French
* Circa 1890s
This pretty
solid silver thimble has an
applied
scalloped rim and band and is hallmarked
with
the Parisian boar’s
head
mark that was used on French 800 silver.
One scallop has a plain area for a monogram though it has not been
personalized. The
condition is excellent, in round with no
holes repairs or dents. It’s
about an American
size 9.
