Antique Bradley & Hubbard Arts Crafts Slag Glass Lamp Triple Signed c.1900

Antique Bradley & Hubbard Arts Crafts Slag Glass Lamp Triple Signed c.1900

Antique This is a large, rare antique Bradley and Hubbard 8-Panel Slag Glass table lamp that has been triple signed and numbered. Lamp is circa 1880-1910, as evidenced by the original gas inlet. The lamp is model number 260, which is cast on the bottom of the base along with the maker’s mark as seen in picture. The other two maker’s marks are stamped on the inside bottom edge metalwork of its matching shade,  “BRADLEY & HUBBARD MFG CO”. The slags are in incredible shape, especially given its remarkable age. Some of the thin metalwork on the shade has minor cracking in the detail but nothing that affects the lamp at all.
Slags feature soft greens, creamy whites and a touch of caramel giving off a soothing light. This lamp is especially unusual as it includes a rare gas inlet adorned with fine detail on the bottom of the lamp stem instead of the typical fashion for this base where the gas line went through the top of the base plate, leaving a hole in the ornate metalwork.  Lamp has been converted to standard electric with a cloth wrapped cord, matching plug, receptacle and flat “Hubbell” knob, all in perfect working condition. Patina on the metal is consistent and matches the age of the piece.
Dimensions are as follows:

19 3/4” tall.

8 3/4” across bottom of base.

13 3/8” across bottom of shade.

Shade is 7 1/4” tall from bottom edge to top.
