Silver Embroidery Scissors
French
* Circa 1900
These
pretty little silver handled sewing scissors are embossed on both sides
with flowing Art Nouveau floral designs.
They
are stamped with the
French boar’s head silver hallmark used
on 800/1000 pure silver made in Paris.
The steel blades still have the original polish and they cut pretty
well.
The
condition
of the silver is excellent with no dents or damage and they measure 3
1/2″ long. They were probably once part of a set of French silver
needlework tools.
