Winchester USA Toothpick Knife 1987 Issue With Antique Utica Bone Mint In Box

Winchester USA Toothpick Knife 1987 Issue With Antique Utica Bone Mint In Box

Winchester

Hi I’m James Parker and I am offering some mint condition knives for auction from a just acquired fine collection of 2500 miscellaneous knives.  Be watching for these knives in the next few weeks and months.

TN residents pay 9.25% state sales tax. Winning bidder pays $3.95 USPS 1st Class Mail  with Delivery Confirmation included in the price. Thanks.

This is a 1987 issue USA manufactured Winchester Toothpick for auction, 4 1/4″ closed. The Clip blade is tang stamped with Winchester Trade Mark Made In USA and the shield is the pinned Badge style.

This knife is mint in the original issue Winchester factory box and features the great looking actual old Genuine Bone (cattle bone) scales.

My father, the late Jim Parker, and Charlie Dorton were great friends. Charlie and my dad dealt for years as they were both instrumental in the development of the Case Classic program. Blue Grass Cutlery holds the liscense for these Winchester knives and when Charlie was a partner in Blue Grass, he told my father that this Genuine Bone used on these late 1980’s produced knives, was actually antique age Genuine Bone that he acquired from the Utica Knife Factory. Dorton and George Smith loaded up barrels of this old bone and transported it off the premises of the Utica Factory. This dates the bone used on this knife as being from the 1910-1937 era.

This knife is pattern stamped with 1924 ’87 (the year of manufacture-1987) on the rear tang of the Clip blade, which is produced with mirror polished carbon cutlery steel. The blade has good “walk and talk” snap.

This 1987 issue United States manufactured Winchester Toothpick is in mint condition in the original issue 2 piece Winchester factory box and being offered at No Reserve. Yes a True No Reserve Auction Where The Bidding Starts At .99 Cents. Thanks for your bids, we appreciate it.
