Here is a very large antique butter mold which presses what appears to be a hand carved round fat pineapple and two wheat stalks onto the top of the butter.
This mold has a Patent Date on the top. It reads: PAT APR 17 1866. This mold fits the description of molds made by John Bullard from Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
This press measures roughly 4.75″ in diameter x 6″ high.
This mold is in excellent used condition with a few minor cracks visible on the top.
I am in no way and expert on this item and have described it to the best of my ability.
