This is an old brass muzzle bullet starter for a muzzle loading type target rifle that was used to start the bullet through a false muzzle. This came to me with a few 32-40 items but I cant say for sure if this is 32-40 as the plunger measures about .350 that seems to me would be too large for a 32 caliber ?? Its not in the best of condition with numerous nicks in the brass but should still work well. I’ll wrap this carefully in bubblewrap and mail in a small flat rate priority box for only $5
