Vintage Ladies Hankie Spectacular Wedding Handkerchief Hand Embrdry Fine Lace

Here you are bidding on an amazing antique ladies wedding handkerchief as pictured. On fine sheer off white linen with exquisite hand embroidery, drawn thread work and 3" wide very delicate lace all around. The center hankie is almost 12" and with the lace the piece is almost 18". What a lovely treasure! From estate and stored in original box and tissue from Bullock’s Wilshire. Both the box and tag were yellowed and weak but I retained the sticker from the tissue, it was never on the hankie. Note how gently the lace is gathered around the corners, preserved so well in its original box. I found 1 tiny storage speckle and 2 tiny slubs in the linen, I could not pick them up in the pictures. Otherwise this stunning hankie is just perfect and pristine and in excellent unused vintage condition.

I just love hankies! But I can’t keep them all so I offer them to you here. I will not knowingly sell a damaged hankie except in special cases where flaws are noted. All hankies are fresh and clean. You may find storage marking particularly along the folds on the unused ones that have been stored for a long time. I will only sell hankies with storage marking that I feel will release with first washing.
