This is a WDC
brand Wunup pipe. Here’s a nice companion piece to your Wunup Baccyflap. It has been lightly
smoked. The interior bowl is
slightly darkened from use but shows no damage or defects. The exterior bowl is made entirely of
Bakelite and is in . The bowl insert is either clay or
pressed meerschaum. The rim screws
off for access to the bowl insert.
The bowl and shank gaskets are in good shape and appear to seal well. I cleaned the bowl and shank and left
the gaskets alone.
The stem is a
black vulcanite push type. It is
in with no tooth wear.
The nomenclature
is molded as part of the shank.
The left side reads: “WDC
(in a triangle) WUNUPâ€. The right
side reads: “Patent Applied Forâ€.
It measures: “5.25†from the bit to the bowl leading
edge. The bowl is 1.75†tall with a .75†bore.
It is cleaned and
ready to smoke!
