Please read this description entirely. We have tried to describe it fully and we are willing to answer your questions as quickly as we can and to best of our ability.
Here is a great restoration project. It is a 1961 Serro Scotty Sportsman Classic. There is quite a following for this brand of camper. There is a lot of history tied to the “Scotty Camper” There are great websites online with pictures from original to complete tear down and rebuilding. They also have resource references and gatherings all over the US. So whoever is the lucky one to win this auction will have a lot of new friends to make in the future.
This camper is just the next stop up from the teardrop. It is and unsual layout for a small camper, but you can tell a lot of thought went into it. Space was used wisely and efficiently.
This has the front kitchen and a full bed. The pictures should answer most of your questions, but I will try to address some here and please feel free to ask questions or call us.

Electric Lights/outlets – 6 or 12 V dome light – Marlite night stand – Vinyl floor covering.”
Now this was a quote from one of the original brochures. This camper is now over 50 years old and has had some changes through the years. It is a very small camper. It has a step up type floor where the dinette is. The highest part inside where the kitchen is 5’6 1/4″ high. As I said before it is just a “step up from a tear drop camper”.
As cute as this camper is and once restored it is going to be a gem! I will say again, it does need restoration. There is water damage and will need repair. I am confident in its potential, but do not want anyone to think it is ready to pack up and take camping. We did take pictures of the water damaged areas, so there will be no surprises.
The seam on the passenger front looks like it separated and bent back – thus the crease that is visible in the pics.
It currently has carpet on the floors. The floors are solid though. I did not notice any soft spots in the floor.
We did tow this camper with no problems over 150 miles. We towed during the day so lights were not used and one wheel rim is a 14 inch and the other a 15 inch. If it were to be towed a longer distance perhaps another rim of a matching size would be a good consideration. We will be on the lookout for one that fits in the mean time.
The truck pulling it (the scout) and the dog (Dakota) are not included.

Width of camper is 8′ 4″.
There about 6 or 7 dents in the outside skin that need addressing also as well as the seam on the front passenger side needs a finishing edge.
