Wow, something different besides coins and cards, and whatever else I have sold thus far. I have a very large amount of toys and collectables from the 50’s, 60’s, & 70’s that I will be listing in the upcoming weeks.
Description: This auction consists of ANTIQUE REED & BARTON TEA POT, #3710-7, ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, VT ESTATE! I picked up a small lot of ephemera at an estate auction this past Wed. evening. Another great auction, (really good food!), and some new finds. Please keep in mind that I buy based primary on what I like. Before I started selling , I spent many years as an avid buyer – of the same things I sell. It helps because there is usually, but not always, a pretty solid knowledge base of the item, AND, I like handling, and briefly owning the items.
Please Note: I bought this piece simply because I liked, and still like, the eye-appeal. It is 100% original, and truly stunning. There is Absolutely No Damage, and the finish is beautiful. It is marked on the bottom, (as pictured), “Manufactured and silverplated by Reed & Barton”, and the numbers “3710-7”. There is also a “C” in script on the front, as pictured. I am not 100% sure it is a “C”, but I’m pretty sure.
I will leave the actual grade determination up to the potential buyer. Please do not hesitate to ask should you have . I will respond ASAP.
