Here is a wonderful estate sale find. It is a pair of two large hand painted old foo dog statues. They are all hand done, painted a light blue with gold accents and lovely hand painted birds and flowers. The dogs are sitting up on some brightly colored balls and they each have a sword in their mouth. These figures are heavy, solid on the top. The bottom has the old red felt for protection. Both dogs are free from chips, cracks and repairs. They stand 5 1/2″ inches high and measure 5″ inches long. This is a beautiful old set of foo dogs to add to a collection.
