You are the RARE 18K SOLID GOLD SUPER FLAT (OR THIN) BAGNOLET CALIBER ORNATE KEYWIND POCKET WATCH WITH ORIGINAL BOX AND KEY pictured below.
This is a special all-original watch (with possible exception of the crystal). Made in the 1820s-30s it is very, very thin and in . It winds and ticks. It is wound and set with it’s original male key. It comes in the original box with same serial no. as on case and movement. This unusal movement was designed by Philippe-Samuel Meylan. Not many were made as they were difficult to execute. I don’t see a maker name but there is no doubt that this was made by an expert Swiss watchmaker. I do note a ‘G’ with a dot or period above and an underline beneath on one pendant side and a ‘P’ on the other side of the pendant.
The covers open and close as they should. They stay shut when closed. There is no damage to the watch. No dents. The original box has the back paper hinge come apart as shown in pics below. It is hard to measure the diameter of the case but it appears to be around 41.5mm to 42mm. I do not know when the watch was last cleaned. I have run it only a couple times the past 2 years.
