This is a lovely collectable enamel teapot – which was first designed in the late 1950s by the Finnish designed Antti Nurmesniemi for Arabia.
This is a lovely ice white colour and is in good condition, with no chips or scratches to the enamel. The interior is also nice and clean with no nasty stains.
It comes with its internal coffee basket fitment – which is also in nice clean condition.
The base is a rough matt black and it is a 0.7 Litres size as annotated under the handle.
The handle is nice and clean and shiny, and is firmly attached to the body of the pot.
There is a bit of very light discolouration of a little section of the rubber surround tot he glass knop on top of the lid – but very minor and the only flaw here.
As nice an example as you will find.
Dimension: from base to top of knop is 6 1/4 inches (16 cm) Diameter of base is 4 1/4 inches (11 cm)
Sold with no reserve – please also see my other interesting Arabia teapot also for sale and a K3 picquot kettle.
