Measures 12.0″ (15.6 cm) wide x 1.75″ (11.7 cm) tall.  This large shallow bowl (perhaps better called a charger) is decorated in brilliant ko-imari colors, depicting chrysanthemum flowers and other flowers with a pair of birds.  The plate is lobed on the sides the the brown tones on the edges where the slip was thin.  The sides are covered in green enamel with scrolling black scrolling leaves. Under-glaze blue ring just inside the foot ring. Center bears ‘Fuku’ mark.  Early 19th c., but possibly older.

Condition:  Very good condition.  One repair about 3.5″ wide on edge of plate (photos 9 & 10) and an area of small scratches on inside of bowl (photo 11).

NO RESERVE! 7 Day Money Back Guarantee.
