This is the last piece of this gorgeous antique silk organdy panel from an antique skirt. Ruffled layers of sheer tiny woven striped organdy in rich ivory deep ivory shade. Stripes are barely 1/8″ wide. Has excellent body. Very good integrity, passed tug and pinch test. Panel measures 42 tall, and 17″wide tapering to about 2″ at top. Bottom ruffles flare out much wider than 23.” Has some age patina, and stains, as well as the purple striped selvage has bled a little. All around in very good usable condition, a delight for antique doll dresses, this would be so pretty over silk taffeta. Thank you for your bids.
