 Description

This is a superb antique brass electric french bulle mantel clock a rare model dating to circa 1920’s

superb lancet top bracket design lacquered brass case with a glass pendulum viewing window to front and a bevelled convex glass and brass bezel hinged door protecting dial and superb bracket design bun feet to base

the quality in the lacquered brass is second to none with a superb finish to the brass and is very heavy for its size

this is a rare bulle model not often seen in brass cases and surely a clock for the serious collection

clock measures 13.25 inches high x 8 inches wide x 6 inches deep

fantastic original brass dial with black arabic numerals with original bulle hands and a centre visuable escapement which can be seen working on display, the dial is signed bulle – clock brevete s.g.d.g patented

original french bulle electric mechanical movement, the movement is of superb quality and the pendulum seems to swing very freely with no rubbing

i can see a battery compartment to back inside which is missing the battery, i havnt obviously tested the clock as i dont know anyting much about electric clocks but looks fine,

superb rare electric clock which im sure will take pride of place in a serious collection

Condition Report

The clock case is in ok condition for age, the brass has a superb finish, i cant see any dents or dings to the brass but there are a few scratches to the case which i think you can see from the photographs and you could probably get polished out

the dial is very good showing very minimal wear and looks fantastic

this clock is a certainty for any clock collector, very rare to see a brass case bulle clock

 

shipping prices for countrys outside the uk will include a custom made wooden crate for shipping, uk shipping prices dont include a wooden crate but buyers have an option weather or not to have wooden crate custom made, there will be a small charge of £15 per wooden crate to cover material costs but are well worth having to ensure safe delivery, please contact us to arrange this after purchasing

We source a lot of our clocks from private collections all over europe and from specialist clock fairs to ensure we continue to supply top quality antique clocks at affordable prices

Please note: All our antique clocks are tested in the workshop for a period of 8 days and working condition is described above, some clocks will work fine without problem, some will have faults but these will be clearly stated in the condition report above

All antique clocks no matter where you buy them from be it auction, antique shop, clock dealer, clock specialist, internet will need setting up properly, fine adjustment and setting into beat when moved and transported, there is plenty of information available on the internet to help you with this but if you have any problems at all then you can contact me and i can send you some information to try and help you, please note a confident clock person / specialist may be required 

 

Packing & shipping

 

We pack all items professionally using plenty of packaging materials and custom made wooden crates where applicable to ensure all items are recieved in the condition they left us, countrys outside the uk shipping prices include a wooden crate, uk have an option weather or not to have wooden crate, there will be a small charge of £10 per wooden crate to cover material costs but are well worth having to ensure safe delivery

 

we will use professional couriers to transport the parcels from us to you and these will provide a full online tracking number so you can keep an eye on the parcel as soon as it leaves me

countries outside the e.u may have custom delays and customs charges import duties ect all of which i cannot control (please contact your local customs office to find out if fees aply to you) however, i will send all relevant customs forms and certificates with the parcels to minimise any delays as much as possible
