is a Charles Mezin Violin made in Paris, France. Dates back before 1940’s not sure of exact year. Belonged to a friends grandfather date is estimated based on that. Don’t know much else about it. Neck and bow are straight. Neck is not loose. Fingerboard, Tuners, and Tailpiece are ebony. Mother of pearl inlay on bow. Tuners have mother of pearl inlay but two of the four have fell out over time. Bow is not marked, and will need restrung. Nice wooden coffin case. Missing chinrest other than that violin is solid.
