What we have up for your consideration is a wonderful Antique handmade knife that I believe to be from Japan and to be from the mid 19th century or earlier. It measure 8 1/8″ long overall with the blad measuring 4″ long by 13/16″ wide. The scales are ox bone on one side and water buffalo horn on the other and the hilt is adorned with horn, copper, and silver. The sheath is a hand hammered silver metal fitted around a wooden inner core and has 4 copper rings around it with one being broken at the pin, but is still held on by the other end. All in all this knife is in super condition considering the age. This is truly a AWESOME OLD knife that is sure to make an excellent addition to anyones collection. There will be NO RESERVE on this super fine knife, so BID with confidence.
