WALTHAM 18 SIZE 17 JEWEL 1892 MODEL RAILROAD POCKET WATCH
It is open face, pendent set with gorgeous nickel movement. This movement is rated as a 2 star in a price guide to watches. Movement 18 size, 17 jewels. Works well and keeps great time. Serial number is 6027577, dates this watch to 1893. It is highly damaskeen movement with rose gold jewel settings and diamond end stone. Glass enameled double sunk dial is in very nice condition. It has 2 very small hairlines by 40 minute mark, we had to use a 10 power magnifier to see it. Case is original and signed Waltham Century. We are not sure of the metal, there for we will say it is a base metal. Glass crystal has several edge chips. Hands are in great shape. Any questions, don’t be shy to ask.
