VINTAGE OSWALD GERMANY CLOCK “SCOTTY DOG” ROTATING EYES
This is an humorous model timepiece of the 1930´s. made by J. Oswald Clock Company of Germany, for advertising to the Company “Carl Tiedemann – Stevedore”
This early model Scotty dog is in carved wood and the dials are represented as the eyes separating the hours on the left and minutes to the right.
On the bottom has green felt with the original gold foil sticker with an “S” in a circle (Oswald’s trade mark).
On back has a engraved brass plaque:
“CARL TIEDEMANN – STEVEDORE – HAMBURG”. and “Germany” incised in the wood.
