this is a nice art nouveau pewter planter by the walter scherf factory for their osiris isis range,probably meant to hold a fragrant plant or pot pourri on a ladies dressing table,the piece is fully marked to the base with the design number and the osiris isis mark and measures approximatey 3″ square at the top,it would have been made in the jugendstil period of the early 1900’s at the same time as wmf & orivit plus liberty & co tudric pewter designed by archibald knox,as can be seen in the images,it has been used through out its life and whilst it retains most of its original siver plate to the exterior the interior shows signs of use so any condition issues are accounted for in the0.99p no reserve price,if you need any more info please e-mail me
