This beautiful antique porcelain enamel on sterling pendant is actually a perfume flask. The chain, cap, and collar are sterling silver, and all original. The sterling has tarnished, except for the threaded collar under the cap. The pretty lady portrait appears to be a transfer, and is accented with hand painted detail. The portrait was also framed by little scrolling details made with silver paint, which has also tarnished, and is even gone in a couple of spots.The back of the flask is also enameled, and is shaded in pink.The enamel, including the portrait, is in with no losses. The little flask measures 5/8 x 5/8 inch, not including the cap and bale. There’s no opening on the bale, and it’s slightly smaller than the chain’s clasp, so it’s reasonable to believe the chain is original. The only mark I have been able to find is STERLING stamped on the round spring ring clasp. There may be other marks I’ve missed due to the tarnish and the small size. Please feel free to email me .
