 ANTIQUE c1892 BLICKENSDERFER No. 7 TYPEWRITER & CASE

 
This is a no reserve auction on antique Blickensdefer No 7 typewrriter and case.
The typewriter looks very nice in original condition. The oak cover and base have original handle strap and functioning side snaps. The gold Bickensderfer name is still prominent on cover. The back of cover has some warping.
The typewriter looks to have all or most of its original parts and is well preserved. The carraige advances when space bar is depressed and comes back when lever is pulled. When keys are pushed down the head moves up and down but head does not turn and it feels locked. The roller turns and there is crack on right edge of rubberIt can be assumed that the machine would need some work to be functioning. The note seen on typewriter in pics was left from decendant of original owner and says typewriter was made in 1891. It appears last pat date on plate was in ’92.

Domestic Shipments -  Domestic orders are shipped via FEDEX . We may use USPS if items are 1lb. or less.   Note:  quotes apply to the 48 continental states but do not cover Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico.  Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico should follow directions below for international buyers. Fedex will not ship to  P.O. Boxes — If your address registered with is a P.O. Box, please make sure to include a street address during checkout.                       

International Shipments -  International bidders are welcome. Most items will be shipped USPS priority. Please push the shipping calculator button to calulate what your S&H costs will be. If you can not find quote to your area contact us through website messaging for quote. If the item you win sells for less than $75 and weighs 4lbs or less and you wish to have the item sent USPS first class to reduce S&H please contact us before payment.  We reserve the right to choose carrier and method based on value and size of item.  Please be aware that you may incur a brokerage and/or tax or customs fee upon delivery.                                                                            

Insurance – Insurance Fees are included on all shipping quotes. A signature will be required for items with sales price of over $200.00.  insurance does not cover items stolen from your doorstep, if you have a concern please call us and we can add signature required for any item. 

Local Pick Up – Please contact us at 952 920-0200 if you would like to arrange pick up of your item at our store. All local pickups will be charged state and local sales tax and $5 handling fee.

Combined – Combined shipping is not done or calculated automatically.  If you have won multiple auctions and contact us we may offer discount, (typically 20% – 40% off S&H) if combining the items makes sense and will result in savings.

All Minnesota state residents and/or any items picked up at the store will be charged state and local sales tax at the time of checkout. Local pickup fee is $5

Payment must be received within 7 days of the close of auction.  If payment isn’t received within 7 days, the auction will be revoked and a Non-Paying Bidder alert will be filed.
