This is an old antique porcelain figure of a lady which I think is Meissen, It has the blue crossed swords mark low down at the back of the figure. The mark is difficult to see but I have included a supersize photo so you can see the details. It is the last photo.
The figure has been badly restored many years ago on the hat, arm and hand. There are also plenty of photos of those areas. It might even have old restoration in other areas and there looks to be diffeent colours on her back close to the damaged arm. There is an impressed number on the base which is ‘411’. Continental porcelain is certainly not my subject but this does look an early piece of porcelain. The lady is holding a cage but I cannot see whats inside it. A very good restoration project for somebody who likes early continental porcelain.
