Nice Old and Original Zinc Pig Weather Vane in good condition. Nice Pig comes with his buddy the Green Flat Quilt Lightning Rod Ball. These two make a nice pair giving off nobilty and flash at the same time. Pig weathervane is on the neat -highly resected triple heart cast iron front. Over all length is 21 inches long. The pig himself is 8 1/2 inches long and 4 3/4 inches tall. This is a hard to find zinc pig. It has not bullett holes. There are several small holes on the hind legs near the hooks. There is a tiny hole near the seam near the head. The very tiny tip of the tall is missing. Very hard to notice.This is avery nice old zinc pig weathervane The handsome lightning rod ball is 5 inches across and has a pretty green flat quilt pattern. Ball is made by Thompson and is a slightly newer verison of the old Thompson ball. It is such a nice looking ball that i chose to add it with the vane.. The pig and the ball fit over the standard 5/8 old style copper rod. Rods are easy to find.. You can add all the parts for a great looking and working weathervane set up. I could have choosen an older lightning rod ball to go with the neat pig but this Green one really fits and looks nicel with the zinc pig. Please look at photos for better description.
