On Off switch works perfectly, winds up, makes popping noise like gun firing when going across the floor and the only thing we see that it does not do is it no longer sparks out the back of the rocket as it needs the flint re-placed. Toy still has great color, does show played with wear that can be seen in photos but very nice for an almost 80 year old toy.
