Here is an interesting early,early Minton tile, not too many of these left hanging around for sale! Tile is in great shape for its age!
Tile measurements: 6inch square; half inch in thickness (heavy tile!)
Color: Brown transfer tile
Age: Early tile, c.1860
Gloss: Yes; it is high gloss, still.
Reverse: Clean, with all embossed markings clearly visible for your consideration; quality glazing is visible too!
Condition: Tile is solid! Age related nibbles, crazing, chips, and dents are demonstrated in pics. I took pics from all pertinent angles for your bidding pleasure.
