Merkelbach & Wick lidded 1L stoneware beer stein. Stein has the c. 1880-1921 Merkelbach & Wick stein mark along with a “xx” marking.
Stein has a pewter lid with “Hans Buttner” engraved on the rim. Lid has copper medallion of a crest. See 5th photo.
This stein is in great shape with no chips or scratches. Strap has a slight amount of play but the lid seats squarely on the stein.
