Impressive High Relief Carvings on a Nice Sized Box
Old Black Forest Wood Carved Folk Art Box
This is a Great old wood carved box featuring Impressive High Relief Carvings of Flowers, leaves and Berries with a large Rose on the top. This box is rather large and would be a Wonderful accent piece on ant Dresser or Table. The Carvings are Simply Stunning and this box was made very well. This is a very tight box, ready for many more years of service.
Condition:
The Box is Solid and Displays nicely. Something has been removed from each of the corners leaving exposed wood but its hardly noticeable beside the great Carvings. There is also very light chips to the extreme edges and corners on some of the leaves etc. and a small chip in the top right side of the lid. There are also screws missing in one hinge.
This Box Displays Very Well & is a Great Conversation Piece.
