A grand large early English pair cased pocket watch in remarkable condition. It is 2 1/4 inch diameter, 138 grams, fusee escapement, the watch runs fine doupt if it is real accurate timing though . Made by “Weiland of Islington” I think – hard to read the scrolling inscrption, It is English and the cases has the apropiate hallmarks. See if you can see the engraved evil face on the balance bridge. You can see the hallmarks on the body of the case and also onthe stem – see images. Bonus of having a watchmakers paper in it – probably the local jewler who serviced it regularly. Case has very little wear and no abuse or dents or scratches. Original glass high dome crystal. no reserve
